RW&CO
A cast of shoppers, drawn in marker, then brought back for the holidays.

An illustration for RW&CO in 2020. I drew the cast first, one shopper at a time in black marker, then lined them up on the sidewalk outside the store in black and white, grayscale and color. In 2026 the same cast came back for the holidays as a short film, made with AI image and video tools.
One shopper at a time
In which everyone gets drawn.
First round, October 2020. Each shopper on their own sheet in black marker: the scarf and the long coat, the swirl of hair, the RW bag. Then the initial sketch of everyone lined up outside the store.

Black and white, grayscale, color
In which the cast goes shopping.
Second round, December 2020. The cast lined up on the sidewalk outside the RW&CO windows, shown three ways.

The cast comes back
In which it snows on the sidewalk.
In 2026 I brought the same cast back for the holidays: garland on the windows, inside the store, a gift on the bench, a party by the window, and everyone sitting on the logo. Made with AI image and video tools.
